Ultimately we know the aim of Sixth Form is to enable university applications and other further education courses. As a Sixth Form our leadership team has vast experience supporting the UCAS process and have supported thousands of applications to an enormously diverse range of courses and institutions.
More significantly than this, they are highly experienced in supporting applications for the most competitive courses (e.g. medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine) as well as Oxford and Cambridge. Students studying with us for whom the aspiration is one of these courses or institutions will receive one to one support with preparing for the BMat, UKCat, as well as the SAQ which accompanies Cambridge applications. Our aim is clear: ensure all our students achieve their goals.
We have strong links to UEA, Robinson College, Cambridge, and Anglia Ruskin University. We take all Year 12 to the UCAS convention in June and they also begin the year with a University taster experience to UEA or Anglia Ruskin/Robinson College which prepares them to focus on the years ahead. Throughout the year students also have the opportunity to attend lectures, seminars and workshops at these universities as well as summer schools if they wish.
